The city of Denver is a goldmine of places to explore. In some ways, quite literally—it was settled as a mining town with one of its oldest neighborhoods, Auraria, being named after the gold- and silver-seekers. Since those days it’s been called home by many people over the generations, from many different cultural backgrounds—Mexican, Italian, English, and Eastern European, seeking their own fortunes. Nowadays the gold sought is the Rocky Mountain wilderness on Denver’s doorstep.
This 5-color map print of Denver city features all 78 of Denver’s neighborhoods and 6 art districts with hand lettering and hand-drawn illustration. Many historic and iconic areas of the city are marked with an illustration.
